These terms cover an academy's use of the 1 Digital Academy portal, and apply to the staff, teachers, students and parents who use it under that academy's account.
1 Digital Academy is a product of Genroar. By creating an academy account, or by using a portal set up under one, you agree to these terms. If you're setting up the account for an academy, you're confirming you have the authority to do so on the academy's behalf.
We provide the portal software, hosting, and the support described on our pricing page — setup help, training, and WhatsApp support during school hours. We aim to keep the service available and working, but like any online service, there may be occasional downtime for maintenance or issues outside our control, and we'll fix those as fast as we reasonably can.
The academy is responsible for the accuracy of the data it enters — student records, fee structures, attendance and marks — and for keeping staff login details confidential. The academy is also responsible for getting any consent it needs from parents or guardians to put their child's information into the portal, in line with its own policies and applicable law. Please don't use the portal to send anything abusive, unlawful, or unrelated to running the academy.
The Starter plan is free for academies with up to 10 students. Paid plans (Standard and Campus) are billed monthly in advance; add-ons such as extra student bands, SMS bundles and online payment processing are billed as described on our pricing page and may change with notice. An academy can cancel a paid plan at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period already paid for. Campus pricing is agreed directly with us and set out in a separate order or quotation.
Where an academy enables online fee payments, those payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or a card processor). We're not the payment processor and don't store card details; processing fees for this feature are set out on our pricing page.
An academy owns the data it puts into its portal — students, attendance, fees, results and everything else. We're the custodian, not the owner. An academy can export its data to Excel at any time, and can request a full export and deletion if it closes its account, subject to legal record-keeping requirements where they apply. Please don't try to access another academy's data, attempt to break or bypass the portal's security, resell or sublicense access to the portal without our agreement, or use the portal for anything illegal. We may suspend an account that does any of these things while we investigate.
We regularly improve the portal and every academy gets updates at the same time, at no extra cost for existing features. We may update these terms from time to time; if a change is material, we'll let academy admins know by email or WhatsApp before it takes effect.
We work hard to keep the portal reliable and your academy's data safe, but we provide the service "as is" and can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Genroar's liability for any issue arising from use of the portal is limited to the fees paid for the service in the three months before the issue arose. We're not liable for losses caused by inaccurate data entered by the academy, or by third-party services such as payment processors or SMS gateways.
An academy may stop using the portal at any time. We may suspend or end an account for non-payment or a breach of these terms, with reasonable notice where practical, and we'll help the academy export its data beforehand wherever we can.
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights an academy or user may have under their local law.
